Big news last Monday; Timberland is being acquired by the company that owns The North Face and some other big brands. Uncertain as to how it will affect me... I'm hoping it's for the better... in part because, I'd get discounts at other brands too!! It will likely take at least a month or so to figure out how it'll all fall into place. Guess we'll see!
I had a great time camping in Acadia National Park last weekend with a friend from B-school -- luckily, her family camps and hikes so we used all of their equipment! The hike was beautiful and Bar Harbor is a great little seaside town. Hope to get more hiking in this summer!
Heading out to take Halle for a little stroll... we are making good progress with her leash walking manners after working with the guy who runs the "vacation spot" she's gone to in Maine for boarding recently (while I was in London, and camping last weekend). We had a great walk on the beach this morning during a run -- she's the only one of us who's been swimming yet though!!
