Super Bowl Sunday

Whoo hoo, polar bears back in the water. This year's polar bear splash in Long Beach was great. The weather was beautiful with temps higher than last year. A bit of a NW wind, but not too bad. Sue, Michael and Maura were not able to join us and they were missed. Mike, Kate, Tom (1st year) and I made it into the water and, more importantly, out again. Brisk, brisk, brisk.....A great big thanks to Mike who rigged up a "changing room" which came in very handy. Needs a little fine tuning but with future splashes to come, I'm sure it will be perfected in no time. Even the people next to us were quite impressed and the Dad in that group has his wheels turning to make one. There is always a need for more family members to frolic in the sand @ LB....so mark it on your calendars. We would love to have you join us.
