OMG, we actually did it!

This morning we closed on the Avalon house,and spent the afternoon talking to realtors, each of whom had a different idea of what we should do.  Tomorrow we do the same with contractors.  That rooftop deck is accessible by a sort of ladder from the living room.  This:

Today was an amazingly beautiful day.  It must've gotten up to 65 degrees.  Except for the absence of people, it really felt like summer.
