While watching the little ones last weekend, upon seeing Tom arrive Sophie was jumping up and down saying "Grandpa's here, Grandpa's here, my Grandpa's here". When Tom got out of the car, Sophie then said, "I missed my Grandpa". Hearts melted - ya think? Tommy was jumping up and down too, happy to see Grandpa but I think more because Sophie was. Monkey see, monkey do.
The trip to Boston was great, potty training and all. A great big thank you to Holly for lending a hand. As Sophie would also say, "My Aunt Holly". We have graduated from speaking in the third person. Aunt Patti and Halle were able to come down for a day too, a bonus for us.
