News From OCS

So I heard from Michael today, which was very surprising. A Captain allowed the guys to use his cell phone to call home for a total of 30 seconds each. I missed the first call, and was a little nervous about calling the Captain's number back, but I figured I had to try. I was so happy that I actually reached Michael directly. In our VERY brief conversation, he said that he is still going through the processing stage (a.k.a "the easy part") and expects to start hitting the "hard parts" on Wednesday. To his relief, the food is very good (maybe he was trying to be positive) and expects to have 24 hour leave at the end of June. Hoping to be able to visit that weekend and check out his new haircut :) As soon as he lets me know his company and writing address, I'll pass it along to everyone.
