Hello from London!

I'm sitting in a cool hotel lobby not far from Luigi's flat, doing a little bit of work before heading out for the afternoon and then drinks with old work friends later. Have been having a great time so far, just taking it easy, meeting up with friends, and enjoying the city. It's great to be back! Going for a run later today in my old neighborhood (around Angel) so that will be fun.

Last I heard, Halle had a great start to her own (educational) vacation up in Maine. On the recommendation from a friend at work, I sent Halle for boarding at a bird dog training place up in Maine; they also work with regular companion dogs. They're going to work on some of her less desirable behaviors (i.e. leash pulling!!) and it sounds like she'll have a blast while doing so. Apparently, on her first run, she was with 2 of their dogs when they "flushed grouse" and then followed them as they hunted!
