Andy and I went out to get a quick glimpse of the super moon--it was impressive--very bright!

I don't get a chance to post or even read posts very often, but I wanted to update everyone officially about recent news around here!

Andy left Starbucks a week ago and took a general manager position with a private coffee company here in Boston. The company consists of 4 coffee shops around Boston and a bagel shop in the BU area. It's a really awesome opportunity for him and very exciting! It also comes with a company car, a Subaru Outback, which could not have come at a better time because we had just started looking at used cars to purchase and now don't need to!

Last weekend, Sophie, Tommy, and I drove to Patti's place in Rye and spent the night. It went surprisingly smoothly, even with Sophie sleeping on a little cot I bought, Tommy in a pack n'play out in the hallway and turning the clocks ahead. We went to a sea museum that was lots of fun--they had a tide pool with star fish and shells--the water was freezing, but that did not deter Sophie from sticking her hand right in! Sunday morning was spent at a great small breakfast place, a walk around Portsmouth, and ended with a visit to a great toy store.

After two months of everyone in this house being incredibly sick (Andy fared the best out of all of us), I am so so so grateful for some warmer weather. We've been getting out a lot in the last two weeks and it has made a huge difference in our days. We recently added a second reflux med for Tommy and since then he has been eating up a storm and starting to fill out. Tommy is flirting with the idea of walking, but not there yet, and Sophie continues to amaze us with her ever expanding vocabulary. She is now speaking in short sentences and able to talk through a small timeline of events!

On the laptop now, but when I have the chance, I will post a pic of our weekend with Aunt Patti. Oh and I forgot to mention the chickens! Sophie got to feed the landlord's chickens lettuce and really enjoyed being around them.

Hi to everyone!
