Aussie Family

I had emailed John yesterday to see how everyone was doing, since a lot of the extended O'Keeffe family does live in the Brisbane area (that's where I met most of them). Wayne (John's nephew John's boyfriend) posted on FB that their apartment was fine, though there was flooding at the end of their street.

Here's John (Chalmers') reply:

Lovely to hear from you Patti,

All are safe and sound. None of the family has had flooding. Peter Casey is unable to get home to his house in Rockhampton and has been living in an apartment at the Rockhampton hospital for three weeks.
I can't get into my office in the CBD. It is cut off by water in the main part of hte CBD.
