Congrats to Patti for finding a great new place to live - what a relief that must be! All is well here. Jaime just started a much-deserved 3-week vacation. I go on my first bookmobile route tomorrow morning - just 2 daycares - we are easing into this new service. Then I leave for a week of music camp, which I love. Will and Andrew just finished a week at wilderness awareness camp, which included building shelters in the woods and sleeping in them for several nights. Look for them on Survivor: Next Generation ten years from now. Will's birthday party was today - a paintball event, where guys shoot balls of paint at each other in these mock warfare scenarios. They loved it.
We will spend the last week of Jaime's vacation on a road trip to the San Francisco area. It's a 14-hour trip from here, so we will break it up and do some sightseeing along the way. Should be fun, among other things.
