As for me, I had the good fortune of my hardworking parents here this weekend, helping me to get my new rental ready to live in! It needed some fresh paint and some rigorous cleaning, so it was great to have extra hands. They're stopping by the apartment again today for a few hours, after hanging out with the babies this morning, while I toil away at my 3rd to last day of work. Though we lost a little time with a false start (thinking I would repaint the kitchen cabinets... and then realizing after my Mom spent a few hours taking the majority of cabinet doors off... just quite how much time that would take... and decided not to... oops!! :)) we made a lot of progress.
Halle got to meet Maya, her new doggie next door neighbor (5 year old golden)... they were both super excited.
