Happy Fourth!

Hello from the sole person at the lake for the moment! The Albany O'Keeffe's (including, of course, the birthday boy!) left this morning to get home in time for Danny's birthday celebration. And for Seaver to have a few hours of relaxation... before the (to him) dreaded fireworks start tonight! Neither he nor Halle really enjoyed the kick off to the weekend's celebrations last night... the "annual" canon firing from the dock next door!

It's hot and sunny up here! I'm trying to finish the last of my fellowship work, so have spent the last few hours inside but think I'll go outside for a swim to cool off now. Sounds like starting tomorrow and Tuesday, there will be quite the crowd up here!

Hope it's OK that I changed the profile pic to the gloriously sunny vista outside! Figured since we hadn't yet gotten family summer pics together (feel free to send me any and I can add in!) it might be nice to see the lake when logging in...
