Patti and I just went to see Avatar today. The special effects were amazing - 3D, convincing alternate world and all of that. I found the story a little disappointing, though - the stereotypical Noble Savage routine. I think Patti liked it more than I did.
Janice, thanks for the crockpot link. That's the one I was thinking of. It seemed like such a perfect idea, except that all the recipes seem yo be for 6-9 hours and we're gone for 12 hours at a time, so the Hamilton Beach we jst got is going back to th store in the hope that we can find one that has a clock so you can set a delayed start time. We'll see what we can find.
