Is it spring?

So warm here today... we had loads of snow, and it's now almost all gone. I had almost forgotten how muddy a dog gets during springtime... I was reminded today, though it could have been much worse! Just some muddy paws (which turned into a muddy face when she stopped to scratch her nose :)).

I just signed Halle up for a "Noseworks" class... apparently it's really growing in popularity, and her "doggie shrink" suggested it would be a good way to channel (and challenge) her intelligence and abundant energy! Starts in a few weeks. They learn how to find things hidden in boxes, etc. by using their sense of smell. It's taught by a woman who trains search and rescue dogs, so it should be interesting.

Other than that, not much going on here, school slowly starting to pick up speed. Am liking all the additional info for the family tree... it had started just as a means to understand how everyone I was meeting was connected!
